- Minimum booking requirement is 3hours. Less than 3hours may be requested for unique circumstances subject to approval.
- Evening, weekend and overnight bookings are available.
- You can book sessions by texting Cryssie on 0435470778
Don't have a support network and find yourself in an emergency situation? Our community of families are a really supportive bunch. Contact me if you need care while you deal with life and ask about financial support options (if possible and available). Families most of the time are pretty happy to accommodate session changes to help out another family.
Payments & Invoicing (important bit)
I am all for simplified systems that free my time to do the work I love, like spending time with your kiddos.
- All our invoicing is done with HNRY accounting software. You pay them, they pay me. Invoices are sent via email on the day of your session.
- All invoices are sent to the email you provide us. If you haven't received it on the same day after a session, please check your junk folder. If nowhere to be seen, please let us know so we can figure out why you haven't received it.
- There are two payment options. Online payment or bank transfer. Cash payments can also be arranged.
- IMPORTANT: you have to reference your invoice number when making a payment.
Transport
Your child’s safety is my first priority. Transport arrangements and destinations are openly discussed. Please view our Transportation Risk Assessment once in the client portal.
Car seats
I provide: 1 car seat that can accommodate 0-8yrs, 3 that will accommodate 0-4yrs, and 2 booster seats.
Seats are kept and installed in accordance with KidSafe SA guidelines.
Car used for transport is serviced regularly, kept in good repair, and kept registered.
I will maintain a current and unrestricted driver's license.
There is no extra charge for fuel unless travel is deemed excessive.
Medical
If your child has medical condition, allergy or sensitivity; I must be notified as that information becomes apparent.
In cases of an emergency or illness, you will be contacted as soon as practicable – this applies to your child and myself. A staple first aid kit will be kept on my person or nearby for minor incidents whilst out of home.
Transition of care
It is important that we value dyadic relationships throughout children’s lives, and particularly in the early years. A child should always transition from one dyadic relationship to another in order to feel secure and resilient.
Dyadic relationships are – any committed, intimate two-person relationship. Such as the relationship between parent and child or nanny and child. The relationship is centred on trust, safety, comfort and connection.
In order to establish a dyadic relationship with your child as their nanny, realistically will take time, like any bond formed with any other human being. This is where transitioning into having a nanny becomes essential. Taking into consideration that each child’s needs are different during this time of transition. Going at your child’s pace is crucial to building trust and a sense of safety.
Depending on the needs of your child(ren), transition may look like this:
- Meet & Greet with Nanny, family and children; a time to discuss relevant matters and family needs and expectations (a requirement if we are not yet acquainted)
- A few visits with caregiver/parent(s) present (optional)
- Followed by the first few short sessions without caregiver/parent present; but nearby and available (optional)
- Then the final transition of having independent sessions
Termination of care
Circumstances, needs and even suitability can change. Change is one constant guarantee in this life. It will be inevitable at some stage in our relationship that care will be terminated. It may be that: your children may have outgrown care, your child is starting school or childcare, financial stress and many other reasons.
In the case that you choose to terminate care arrangements or prefer to change from regular care to casual; I ask that you give me as much notice as possible. That ensures that I can fill that vacant time slot as soon as your care finishes.
Nanny Starter Kits (important bit)
Nanny kits consist of:
A to-go bag (one tote bag and two zip bags)
A branded Nanny Cryssie crew t-shirt (subject to availability)
To-go bags are my version of a nappy bag. It is much easier for me to only carry the essentials when we head out rather than a collection of all the things gathered in the child's bag over time. It supports me as a nanny to lessen my mental load when out and about by having a clear expectation of where to find items consistently across all families and by having only what is needed.
Prior to this system, I would end up with bulky nappy bags that haven't been sorted through in months - meaning that I end up with heavy and bulky bags that are hard to carry along with everything else. Often, bags provided for a child can also be too small to fit around my shoulders for me to carry and the child may never end up carrying it themselves. Therefore, this just keeps it streamlined, sets clear expectations, and makes packing and unpacking a lot easier.
Nanny share
Nanny Share: combining the care of two families or more into the same session and in one location.
Nanny sharing benefits you financially and also provide your child with the opportunity to socialise and build friendships. Conditions apply to ensure optimal care is still being provided and that all parties benefit from the arrangement.
Minimum 3hour booking still applies
Nanny share arrangements can only be booked with express agreement from Nanny Cryssie
Meet & Greet sessions
This is our first meet. An opportunity to meet me (Nanny Cryssie) and ask any questions. At least one parent should be present and the children that are enrolled are to be present as well and awake. That way we can all get acquainted and establish that first connection.
This is recommended, but optional. Some circumstances may not require a meet, such as: you already know me, logistical issues with organising a meet, etc.
A meet & greet session is $30.
Session can up to 1 hour, depending on your needs during the meet.
Pricing
- In-Home child care.........$40 per hour
- Nanny share....................$30 per hour
- Meet & Greet session......$30
- Nanny Starter Kit.............$20 per child under 4

Essentially, this system is set up like a course portal with learning tabs, groups and courses. However, we are using it a little differently. By just renaming some of the content on the platform, it will all make a little more sense, and we can utilise a great resource to its full potential.
Here are some words you will see on the portal:
Affiliate earnings - not something to pay attention to at this stage. We won't be using this just yet, if at all.
Channels - the sub-sections within chats to help categorise communications.
Courses - here you will find any policies/procedures, documentation and resources.
Events - our events calendar is located here.
Groups - categorises the groups you are in.
Leaderboard - shows the amount of participation each member makes.
Subscriptions - if we have any payment subscriptions, they will show here.
